London, 22nd November 2022 – Pacific Life Re is pleased to announce the appointment of David Waters as new Director of Underwriting in its Europe Business Unit.
Mr. Waters joins Pacific Life Re Europe’s Claims and Underwriting team and will be responsible for; helping manage external and internal risk, developing a strong market profile, providing high-quality service to clients and supporting the sales and marketing team.
Reporting to Carl Padget, VP, Head of Claims and Underwriting, Mr. Waters will work closely with Ian Rowe, Director of Claims and Hayley Bloomfield, Senior Underwriting Developer.
Mr. Waters has an impressive reinsurance underwriting and managerial background, joining Pacific Life Re from Gen Re, where he was Chief Underwriter.
