SINGAPORE – 15 August 2023 – Pacific Life Re, a leading player in the life and health reinsurance industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Vasan Errakiah in the newly created role of general manager, Asia markets. In this role, Mr. Errakiah will have responsibility for Pacific Life Re’s market activities throughout Asia, with each of the market heads reporting directly to him. Mr. Errakiah will continue to report to Andrew Gill, executive vice president for Asia and Australia at Pacific Life Re and will join the Asia Executive Committee in this new role.
During the past five years, Pacific Life Re has successfully increased its presence in many Asian countries and experienced substantial growth across all markets. As the company continues to expand its global footprint in Asia, Mr. Errakiah and team will continue to deliver on their commitment to providing exceptional customer service and tailored solutions for clients.
Mr. Errakiah has been a vital part of Pacific Life Re’s growth story for the last 15 years, working in its offices in London, Toronto, and Singapore. For the last four years, he has been instrumental in driving business development as the head of South-East Asia and Japan where he was responsible for the sales and marketing teams.
