David manages our global reinsurance and retrocession business. He has over 25 years’ experience in life reinsurance, having held a variety of senior roles with Swiss Re and Mercantile & General Reinsurance. Under David’s leadership, we have grown from a niche reinsurer to a significant player in the global reinsurance market with material and increasing market shares in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America.

General Counsel & Chief Risk Officer
George is responsible for legal, compliance and risk management activities across the company and he and his team manage the relationships with our primary insurance regulators including the PRA, OSFI and APRA. As Chief Risk Officer he oversees the governance and validation of our economic capital models, including the partial internal model used to calculate regulatory capital requirements for much of the business.

Jerry is responsible for actuarial reporting across the global business, including quarterly reporting on multiple bases: US GAAP, Solvency II and Economic Capital. He is also responsible for the actuarial modelling team which develops and maintains the actuarial models used across most of the Division. Jerry is a member of the PLRL Board, DRMC, Assumptions and Investment Committees.

Warren was part of our founding Executive team and has been directly involved in building our client-facing proposition as the business has evolved. His current role incorporates global responsibility for underwriting and claims standards, as well as for challenging traditional practices in these disciplines through the use of technology. He is also Non-Executive Chair of UnderwriteMe – a business which is making life insurance easier to buy through state-of-the-art digital capability.

Chief Financial Officer
Duncan has been the Chief Financial Officer for ten years, and during this time he has guided the company through a major growth phase, including adapting to a new regulatory regime in Europe. He has been responsible for establishing the administrative and support functions in the areas of Finance, IT and Operations, including the transformation of systems, processes and controls, to the global solutions we use today.

Chief Pricing Officer
As Chief Pricing Officer, Paul oversees pricing standards across all of our operations, as well as having oversight of the Research and Development function. He has established industry leading pricing practices along with the delivery of reinsurance terms for Term Assurance, Mortality, Critical Illness, Income Protection and Longevity solutions. He has played a significant role in us becoming - and remaining - a leading reinsurer in the UK Longevity risk market and one of the significant players in the UK Protection reinsurance market.

Head of IT | Division Centre
David is responsible for Pacific Life Re's global IT services, security and strategy. He joined the company in 2009, having worked across the Financial Services and Media industries for over 25 years. David has a wide range of experience in managing Finance teams, the creation of IT support services, infrastructure outsourcing, and systems project management.

Head of Business Architecture & Change | Division Centre
Earshad has been with the company for over 11 years, having previously trained with PWC and KPMG Australia. During his time at Pacific Life Re, he has led a number of corporate initiatives aiding the company's global expansion, and developed the finance team and systems to meet its regulatory and reporting requirements. Currently, Earshad is the Head of Business Architecture and Change, which involves helping the company to deliver on key projects and corporate initiatives.

Head of Financial Planning & Analysis | Division Centre
Court coordinates our long-term strategic planning process and assesses progress against our goals. His reinsurance career began in Bermuda, where he worked for more than a decade before joining our Toronto office in 2011. In 2016, Court moved to the UK and took on a Divisional role in our London office, which has enabled him to expand his understanding of the Company’s overall strategy and the challenges of working within numerous geographical locations and regulatory environments.

Head of Risk | Division Centre
Ian joined Pacific Life Re as Senior Product Development Actuary and in 2016 was promoted to Head of Risk across the Division. He is responsible for the delivery of our Division Economic Capital, annual ORSA processes and annual validation activities for the company's Partial Internal Model. A key part of Ian's role is to ensure we are planning for the long term, and in relation to potential changes in the external environment. In addition to his role, he is Secretary of the Pacific Life Re Limited Credit Risk Monitoring sub-committee and Chair of the Model Governance committee.

Head of Actuarial Modelling | Division Centre
Gavin joined the company in 2006 as a Pricing Development Actuary and since then has been promoted to Head of Actuarial Modelling. He is responsible for building and maintaining the suite of actuarial models used within the Pricing and Corporate Actuarial functions across all of the business units, except Retro.

Head of Actuarial Reporting | Division Centre
Rhys joined the company in 2005 and has since performed a number of roles within both Pricing and Actuarial Reporting. He has extensive experience in Solvency II, and has played a leading role in Pacific Life Re's Solvency II implementation project, including the successful Partial Internal Model application. His main responsibilities include the actuarial aspects of Pacific Life Re’s regular reporting and business planning processes.

Head of Divisional Research & Development | Division Centre
Matthew started working for Pacific Life Re in 2007 in the London office, and in 2017, he moved to Toronto. He manages the R&D team across the Division and is responsible for best estimate assumption setting and capital model development across all lines of business. During his time at Pacific Life Re, he has supported the development of our Longevity reinsurance offering and is a regular speaker and contributor at actuarial conferences and events.

Principal Underwriter | Division Centre
Paul joined the company in September 2004 and has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. He oversees the Risk Governance programme for the Underwriting and Claims teams across all five of our business units; he also manages the Pacific Life Re Retrocession programme and the content for our underwriting manual, Ocean. Paul is a strong believer in investing in our more junior staff to facilitate their progression and a key part of his role is supporting the development of all of the Underwriting and Claims teams.

Wesley first joined the company in 2015, before transferring to the Division Centre in 2017. He is a qualified accountant and actuary, with over 20 years' experience in the insurance industry. Throughout his career he has held a variety of leadership, financial management and consulting roles, which have given him an excellent understanding of all aspects of the industry.

Head of Internal Audit | Division Centre
Mark leads Pacific Life Re's global internal audit team. He joined the business in October 2017, having previously worked at PwC, where he gained a vast amount of experience in leading Internal Audit, Risk Assurance and Consulting engagements across a wide range of clients, from FinTech start-ups to large established insurers.

Faye is the Global Head of HR for Pacific Life Re. Having gained experience in a variety of HR roles in financial and professional services, Faye works to ensure we attract, develop and retain the best talent. She originates and leads Human Resources activities to provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture.
